VUMC offer three health benefit plans. Fully benefit eligible employees can cover your spouse/same sex domestic partner, and/or children (up to age 26). Effective 2016, VUMC introduced a new benefit class, partially benefits eligible. Partially benefits eligible employees have access to health coverage and can cover only their children. The plans are designed using co-pays, deductibles, and offer preventive care as well as low-cost options for prescription drugs.
As an employee of VUMC, you will have access to accrued time off, and short/long-term disability if needed.
